Serious question, zip tying my tomato stems to the railing worked but now the whole plant is leaning
So I've got 4 cherry tomato plants on a north facing balcony in Seattle and they kept flopping over every time the wind picked up, so I started zip tying the main stems to my metal railing with the ties loose so they wouldn't cut in. It worked great for like 3 weeks and the plants got way taller, but now the whole thing is leaning hard toward the street side and some leaves are touching the cold metal at night. Should I be worried about the stems getting damaged where the ties are, or is this just what happens when you train them like that?
