inFound a 5-year-old jar of pickled beets in the back of the pantry
Found an old jar of green beans from 2020 in the basement that had fermented right in the jar. The lid was bulging like it was about to take flight. Opened it up and the smell was like a gym sock had a baby with a compost pile. Pretty sure my neighbors thought I was cooking roadkill for dinner.

inWhy does every client think their dusty old tower just needs a "quick vacuum" inside...
Right because dust bunnies are famous for dying quietly in a vacuum.

inSpent 3 weeks fixing a resume format issue that was hiding my best experience
Nah, I actually see it a little different @martin.jamie. Those ATS studies can be misleading, a lot of them are from companies selling resume tools so they exaggerate the problems. Most decent ATS software handles standard PDFs and basic fonts just fine, the real issue is people using weird formatting or nonstandard templates in the first place.

inHad a talk with a retired engineer at the library about resumes and it hit different
Huh, I'm not sold on that honestly. It feels a little too salesy for a resume.

inI wasted $40 on a 'miracle' cake leveler that just mangled my layers
You said it probably works better as modern art. So you've actually tried using one, or are you just judging it by how it looks? I've seen those weird balloon whisks before and always figured they were just a gimmick. Does it actually do anything a regular whisk can't, or is it all hype?
