Why does nobody talk about pot depth until your carrots come out stubby
Grew carrots in a 6 inch deep box on my balcony in Sacramento for 2 seasons before a guy at the nursery asked what depth I was using and I felt dumb. Anyone else figure out their container was the problem way later than they'd like to admit?

Six inches is fine for most carrots, stubby ones are usually packed soil or too much nitrogen.
