Serious question, did I mess up going booth rent or was the chair at Gary's in Boise the better call?
I left a commission shop on Fairview Ave back in March and moved to booth rent at $200 a week. My old chair mate Dustin stayed on commission and swears I am bleeding money because he only pays when he cuts. I love keeping every dollar from a fade but some weeks I sit there 3 hours with nobody in the chair and that rent check stings. For the guys who have done both, did booth rent ever actually beat commission for you or is it just a mindset thing?
