Bought a $3 PS2 game on a whim, ended up with 40 hours of my life gone

Picked up a scratched copy of SSX Tricky at a thrift store in Portland for 3 bucks last month. Never played it back in the day, figured it would just be a waste of time. That game absolutely consumed me, I got through every mountain and trick challenge twice. Anyone else ever get hooked on a dirt cheap title they only grabbed for the novelty?

SSX Tricky was PS2 era, but that one's actually the PS3 remake lol.
