My cousin told me to skip the $5 bargain bin and hit garage sales instead, and he was dead wrong
My cousin Rick has been collecting games since the 90s and he always acts like he knows everything about cheap games. About 4 months ago he told me to quit wasting time on the $5 bargain bin at my local shop in Toledo because garage sales are where the real finds are. So I spent 6 straight Saturdays driving around to sales and came home with exactly 3 sports games and a scratched copy of some racing game nobody wants. Meanwhile the bargain bin at my shop had a complete copy of Silent Hill 2 sitting there for $5 the whole time. I finally went back last week and of course it was gone, sold to some guy who walked in 20 minutes before me. Rick still swears garage sales are better but he lives in a rich neighborhood and I live near a college campus where everything gets picked clean by resellers at 7am. So now I'm back to digging through the bins and ignoring his advice completely. What's your go to spot for cheap games, bins or sales?
