Why does nobody mention measuring your desk depth before buying a 34 inch ultrawide?
About 3 weeks ago I drove to a guy's apartment in Portland to buy a used 34 inch ultrawide off Facebook Marketplace, and when I set it on my desk the stand hung about 4 inches off the back edge. He had warned me over chat that it needed "a deep desk" but I figured my 24 inch desk was fine. Turns out the thing needs close to 30 inches with that stock stand, so I ended up wall mounting it and spent another $40 on a VESA arm. Measure twice, folks. Anyone else get burned by monitor depth instead of just screen size?
