A guy in Ocean City gave me a mesh bag for the tiny stuff and I rolled my eyes
I've been hauling a heavy bucket and gloves to my usual stretch in Ocean City for about 2 years, and last month this older guy named Ray told me to ditch the bucket for a mesh dive bag so sand and water drain out while I walk. I figured he was just being fussy about my setup, but after one trip my back felt way better and I picked up twice as many cigarette butts and bottle caps in the same hour. Am I the last person on this beach still dragging a bucket around, or does anyone else have a better trick for the small stuff?
