Shoutout to the $4 pack of pointed cotton swabs that fixed my eyeliner wings after 2 years of shaky mess
I used to fight with round swabs and smudge one eye then try to match it for 20 minutes, now I just clean the edge in one pass with the pointed ones I grabbed at Sally Beauty on 5th. Anyone got a trick for keeping the tip from fraying so fast?
The fraying usually happens because the tip gets wet and then bends when you press too hard on your lash line. Try twirling the swab slightly as you wipe instead of dragging straight across, that spreads the wear around the point instead of crushing one side. Also worth checking if you're storing them tip down in a cup, gravity plus any moisture makes them go soft way faster.
