Just realized my stylist was right about the towel thing

I was rubbing my hair dry with a towel for years until my stylist in Denver said that rough friction is why my ends kept splitting. Switched to squeezing it out gently with a cotton tee about 3 weeks ago and the frizz on my crown is way down. Anyone else get annoyed when a simple fix actually works?
