Appreciation post: The 'bike' at a yard sale in Boise
Stopped at a sale last weekend and they had a kid's bike for $5. The chain was on the wrong side of the sprocket, just looped over the seat tube like a weird necklace. How does that even happen? Anyone ever seen a repair that creative before?
Honestly that's the kind of fix where someone just found the chain on the ground and figured it had to go somewhere. Like they probably lifted it up and draped it over the closest metal tube, not realizing the sprocket was even a thing. Probably took them five seconds and they felt real proud of themselves too.
