inMy brother said to just throw out the old lawn mower. Glad I didn't listen.
Ngl that ziploc bag trick is so smart. I see this a lot now, where one small fix changes your whole view. Like I finally learned to patch a bike tire instead of taking it to the shop, and now I look at other stuff around the house totally differently. It feels good to not just replace things right away.

inHad a Dell OptiPlex 3020 from 2015 die on me last Tuesday
Upgrade to what though, that's the real question. Feels like every new model has some annoying flaw or missing feature the old one did right. Finding parts can be a pain but sometimes keeping the devil you know is better.

inPSA: I bought a $40 'writing prompt deck' and it actually got me unstuck
Used to think you had to wait for inspiration to hit out of nowhere. Then I started keeping a folder of weird photos I find online, like that door. It was just a normal looking apartment door but the number was 13/13, on a floor that only went up to 12. The wrongness of it gave me chills and built a whole story about the people who lived behind it. Your postcard idea is the same thing, a cheap little puzzle for your brain to solve. Makes the blank page way less scary.
