Just realized the new carbon paste from that brand in the green tube actually works

I was pretty sure it was just fancy grease until a customer's seatpost, which I'd used it on, came back six months later with zero slipping and no visible damage to the carbon. What's a product you were wrong about being just marketing hype?

What brand was that carbon paste? I've been burned by so many that just seem like colored grease, but a solid six-month test is hard to argue with.

Honestly, forum praise can be misleading. I saw that same post @walker.grace mentioned, but a lot of those reviews feel paid for. Six months isn't that long for a real stress test, either. My buddy used that paste and his seatpost still slipped after a few wet rides.
