Just realized I've been watching shows on 1.5x speed for a month straight

Started doing it because I wanted to get through The Wire before the new season of something else dropped. Now I can't watch anything normal speed, it feels like everyone is talking slow motion. Tried to watch a movie with my wife last night and kept grabbing the remote to speed it up. She was not amused. Anyone else get stuck in fast forward mode and can't go back?

Wait, The Wire already ended like a decade ago, so there wasn't any new season to rush for.

Season 5 was kinda over the top with the fake serial killer stuff, but it still had some great moments. @jason112 i get that its not that deep but people act like the show got ruined or something, it was still better than 90% of tv out there. Just cause it wasnt as good as season 1 or 4 doesnt mean we need to act like it was a disaster.

Yeah I read that the showrunner originally planned a different ending but had to change it. What did you think of that?
