My roommate swore I'd like Dark after 3 episodes. I hated it after 3 episodes.

He kept saying "just wait until episode 3, it clicks" but by episode 3 I was more confused than when I started. I made it to episode 6 before giving up, which is about 6 hours of my life I want back. Has anyone else had a show their friend hyped up that just didn't hit for you?

6 hours? I would have been so mad. I barely made it through 2 episodes of that show.

Blame it on the hype train honestly. Everyone told me it was a masterpiece so I went in with crazy high expectations and then it was just... okay? The first season has that one big twist everyone talks about but after that it just drags with the same arguments over and over again.
