The 47th episode finally got me to stop fast-forwarding intros

I was zipping through my latest rewatch of a long running crime drama and realized I had skipped every intro for about 46 episodes. Then on episode 47, I forgot to hit the button and actually listened. The music had changed subtlety around season 4 and I never noticed because I was so used to skipping. Now I feel dumb for missing that detail for like 3 straight seasons. Has anyone else had a random rewatch moment where not skipping paid off, or is it just me?
