Vent: I spent $40 on a show that was just not worth it

I saw a bunch of hype for this new sci-fi show and bought the whole first season on a streaming service last month. It was $40, which felt like a lot, but I figured it would be a good binge. The story was super slow and the main character was just boring. I forced myself through all eight episodes and honestly wish I had my money back. Anyone have a good sci-fi show that actually gets going fast?

Eight episodes of boring for forty bucks is a special kind of torture. Try The Expanse, it kicks off fast.

Yeah, and that first season is a real slow burn too.
