Frosted window film stopped the morning thump in my kitchen
For three weeks I kept finding dazed sparrows under my back patio door glass that looks straight out onto our feeder station in Boise. I tried hanging those shiny reflective strips but the wind just blew them sideways. Then I grabbed a $9 bottle of car window rain repellent from the auto parts store and coated the outside of the glass in a thick layer. The water beading effect seems to break up the reflection enough now, I havent had a single window hit since I reapply it after each rain. Is there a more reliable coating that lasts longer than a week or two without looking cloudy on the interior side?
