My kid asked me why the birds keep hitting our glass door
He said 'they think the trees are real' and it hit me that my fancy clear view was the problem. Anyone else have a spot that looks too open from the inside?

Man that's rough. Your kid nailed it though. So you got any big windows on the other sides of the house too? Like a whole wall of glass facing the yard. Wonder if those are just as bad.

Oh yeah, the back of the house is basically all glass too. It looks amazing until you try to watch TV during the day, then it's just a giant mirror. We ended up putting up those light blocking curtains, but then you lose the whole point of having the windows. Makes you wonder what the architect was thinking sometimes.
