Tried window film vs stickers for bird strikes at my place in Portland

I put up those UV reflective stickers on my big living room window about 6 months ago and still had 3 strikes. Last month I switched to a full window film that makes the glass visible to birds from 15 feet away and I haven't had a single hit since. Has anyone else noticed a big difference between spot treatments and full coverage solutions?

You mentioned that the UV stickers "didn't do squat" and honestly I used to roll my eyes at people saying that. I was all about those little decals thinking they were enough, but after a chickadee hit my slider hard last spring I started rethinking everything. Now I see it's kind of like trying to stop rain with just a few buckets instead of a roof. The full film covers the whole window so birds can actually see it's a barrier instead of just dodging tiny targets. A buddy of mine in Seattle did the same switch and he says it's like night and day, no hits in four months now.

Those UV stickers didn't do squat for me either, stuck with film now.
