I was at Pair A Dice Games in Vista last Saturday trading in some old stuff and the owner picked up my beat up Catan box and said that. At first I felt kind of embarrassed since the cards are warped and the robber is basically just a piece of cardboard now from 6 summers of pool parties and camping trips. But then I realized he was right, and a mint copy in shrink wrap on my shelf would not have any of those memories, so does anyone else actually prefer their games looking rough from use or am I just telling myself that?
