Chose the manual beveler over the electric one for a job in Tulsa

Had a 40 foot tank seam to prep and the electric beveler kept bogging down on the warped plate. Swapped to the manual hand beveler and it took longer but the edge came out cleaner, no chatter marks. Anyone else stick with hand tools when the power stuff fights back?
