I compared reading on a tablet to physical books and one side won hands down

Okay, wait, hang on. You did a whole 50 pages with notifications popping up? I would have chucked the thing across the room after the first buzz. Honestly, the glare alone would have done me in before page 10. I have a strict no-tablet rule for fiction now. It's just not the same as bending the spine just right and smelling that old paper smell.

Spent $250 on a used Mamiya 645 and the light seals were toast

Oh man that SUCKS. I really feel for you because that exact same thing happened to me with a Pentax 67 I bought for cheap, whole roll of vacation photos completely ruined. At least you got it fixed for only eight bucks, that's a win in my book even if the learning curve was a pain.

TIL those cheap cable clips from Amazon are garbage

I used standard double-sided tape and mine have stayed on for 2 years without any prep lol.

I miss my old balcony setup from 3 years ago

You ever try growing lettuce in a shady spot? I used to be one of those guys who thought you needed full blast sun for anything to grow, but a buddy of mine proved me wrong. He grows a ton of leafy greens on his north-facing porch in the summer and they do fine. Just gotta pick the right stuff like spinach or arugula, stuff that actually bolts less in shade. Might not give you tomatoes but at least you'd have something fresh out there.

My AI scheduling tool double-booked me twice in one day

Oh man, that's brutal. I once had a calendar bot schedule my dentist appointment right in the middle of a wedding ceremony I was shooting. I showed up to the wedding with toothpaste foam still on my chin because I had to rush from the cleaning. The bride was not amused, and now I just stick to writing my schedule on a whiteboard like a caveman.
