My kid's science teacher said something about pressure that made me rethink a whole job

He was explaining how a balloon pops when you squeeze it, but a boiler tank doesn't. He said, 'It's not just about the pressure, it's about how you spread the stress.' I was making dinner and it just clicked. I've been welding for 12 years, but I always just followed the code for thickness. Now I'm thinking more about the whole shape and where the weak points really are. Anyone else have a simple thing make you see your work totally different?

My delivery route clicked after I stopped just following the GPS and started seeing the traffic flow.

That's exactly how I learned my way around the city when I first moved here. I used to just stare at my phone for every turn, but then you start to notice which left turn lanes always back up at 4 PM, or which shortcut only works if you catch the light just right. It's like your brain builds its own live map after a while. Now I only check the GPS for the final address, and I get everywhere faster just by feeling the rhythm of the streets.

Ngl @butler.mark, GPS already got me where I need to go without memorizing traffic patterns.
