Vent: our club picked a 700 page book and half of us quit by chapter 3
So our little club up in Portland had a wild week, all because Greg pushed hard for a huge history book that looked like a doorstop. Six of us met at my place on Tuesday, and by the time we hit chapter 3, Dana flat out said, "I am not doing this," and walked to the kitchen for more wine. We lost three members by Thursday, which is a record for us. Then the four of us who stuck around actually had the best talk we have had all year, arguing about a chapter nobody else even read. My whole week was basically damage control texts in the group chat. Have you all ever had a pick split the club in half like that?
