Stop buttering your brick ties before setting them, it does nothing
Saw a guy on a job in Tampa last month coating every tie in mortar like it was bread. That paste dries in 10 minutes and just makes the mortar slop off the joint. The rust grip does the work, not the dip. Anyone else see this on their sites or am I taking crazy pills?
