Two pallets of modular brick showed up cracked on the Franklin job and the GC blamed me
Last Tuesday we got two pallets of modular brick delivered to the Franklin job and about a third of them were cracked right through the face, so I made the driver note it before he left. The GC walked up an hour later and tried to say my crew dropped them, even though the banding was still on and the strap marks were sunk into the cubes. I pulled up the delivery ticket and the photos I snapped on my phone, and he went quiet and called the yard himself. Tbh I spent the rest of the day laying around the bad ones and eating the clock. How do you all handle it when the GC starts pointing fingers before he even looks at the pallet?
