Bought a $30 espresso machine instead of a $400 one, zero regrets
Tbh everyone in this sub swears by the expensive machines for the bougie cafe feel at home. I went with a cheap Mr. Coffee unit from a thrift store in Phoenix and spent the leftover cash on good beans. It makes a solid enough shot for my daily latte, and I fix it myself when it acts up. Has anyone else skipped the fancy gear and got better results from putting money into ingredients instead?
