Chatted with a flight attendant about her off-duty travel, now I'm rethinking everything
Met a Delta attendant in the Newark gate area last month and she said she never books more than 3 days ahead, just watches error fares on her off days and hops wherever. She flew to Lisbon for $210 round trip last Tuesday just because the fare dropped that morning. Has anyone else had luck with that last-minute gamble, or do you stick to the 6-week advance window?

Honestly, @coleman.jamie that's exactly the kind of impulse I'd have, then I'd realize I forgot to pack socks and just cry in the airport. Tbh my "spontaneous" trips usually end with me eating gas station snacks in my car.
