Hostel dorms beat Airbnb for solo trips, here's my 3 night test in Lisbon
Everyone pushes private rooms but I saved $140 in 3 nights sharing a 6 bed dorm at Home Hostel. Sure, someone snored but I met 4 people who ended up joining my day trip to Sintra for free company. Anyone else find hostels way more social than the solo Airbnb grind?
