That $89 'discount' flight deal cost me $210 in the end
Booked a so-called cheap flight to Denver last month through a third party site. The base fare was $89, but they hit me with a $45 carry-on fee at check-in and a $30 seat assignment I thought was free. Then I paid $46 for a shuttle because the flight landed at 1 a.m. and public transit was done. Add it up and I could have flown direct for $190 with bags included. Anyone else get burned by those bait prices on aggregator sites? What do you use to find the real total before you click buy?
