Hit $4,200 in my emergency fund after 14 months of $300 auto transfers

I set up a $300 auto transfer to a separate savings account back in January of last year and honestly forgot about it for most of the year. Checked the balance last night and it was sitting at $4,200, which is more than I've ever saved in my life. The trick was naming the account something boring so I never felt tempted to peek at it. Does anyone else use the out of sight out of mind thing or do you track yours weekly?

My wife does the same thing but with a jar of cash she hides in a sock drawer, except she actually forgets where she put it and then finds like $600 months later and thinks she's a detective solving a case. I tried the separate account thing once but I kept checking it every few days like a weirdo, so the out of sight trick never worked for me. What finally worked was setting the transfer for the day after payday so the money was gone before I could think about it.
