My grocery bill dropped $60 a month when I started shopping the perimeter of the store only
I used to walk every aisle at Kroger and grab whatever looked good, which always added up to around $310 a month for just me. Then a coworker mentioned she only buys from the outer ring, produce, meat, dairy, and bread, and skips all the middle aisles. I tried it for 6 weeks and my bill dropped to about $250, and I'm actually eating better since I'm not grabbing chips and frozen meals. Aisle 7 still calls my name but I just walk past it now.
