Yeah, the part about things slipping through the cracks is exactly it. I used to skip future logs too, but then I missed a dentist appointment last quarter. Now I get it.

My cousin puts a sticky note on her bathroom mirror three days before any appointment. Somehow our brains trust Post-It notes more than calendar alerts.

Ever think future logs were just busywork? I totally did and would never bother with them. Then I completely forgot my best friend's birthday dinner until the morning of. That was SO embarrassing. Now I write everything down in my future log, even small stuff. It saved me last month when I almost missed a vet appointment for my dog.
