I hit page 200 in my bujo last week and it kind of freaked me out
I started this little Leuchtturm in January and figured I would quit by March like always, but last Tuesday I flipped to page 200 and just stared at it for a minute. Turns out the trick was ditching fancy spreads and just doing a plain running list with dots, nothing else. Does anyone else get weirdly emotional when they finish a journal, or is it just me?
It is a real thing and it is not just about journals. I notice it with anything where you stop trying to make it perfect and just let it be what it is. My dad has a shed full of half done projects because he wanted every one to look like the cover of a magazine, then he finally built a plain workbench with scrap wood and used it every day for ten years. The fancy stuff dies, the plain stuff lives. Page 200 hits hard because it means you kept a promise to yourself without even making a big deal out of it, which is way rarer than people admit. It caught you off guard because you were not watching the number, you were just showing up. That is how most good things in life actually get done, boring and steady and then one day you look up and you are somewhere.
