PSA: My bujo doodle of a client's home sparked a privacy debate

Logged an HVAC job in my bullet journal. Sketched the house's weird layout for fun. Client peeked over and got real concerned. Thought I was sharing their floor plans online. Had to swear my bujo stays private. Whole thing was pretty absurd.

Yeah exactly, it's wild how we automatically assume everything's headed for an audience now. Like, can't a sketch just be for remembering a tricky vent placement? Makes you wonder what they'd think of an old school tradesperson's notebook full of measurements and quick drawings.

Notice how this even happens with daily stuff like cooking a nice meal or a good workout. The first thought for lots of people is to take a picture for social media, not just to enjoy the moment for themselves. It feels like the private record, the thing just for you, is getting lost. That tradesperson's notebook is a perfect example of something valuable exactly because it wasn't made for show.

That client had a legit point though.
