Vent: my cousin told me to put my sticker idea on the fridge for a week before printing, and I'm still mad he was right
I had this idea for a sticker that said "I brake for yard sales" and I thought it was gold, so I had a run of 50 printed at the shop on 8th street for about $40. My cousin Dave, who does zero design work, told me to tape a sample to my fridge and look at it for 7 days straight before ordering more than a couple. I rolled my eyes but did it anyway, and by day 4 I hated the thing. Turns out the font was too thin and it read like "I brake for yard sales" in a whisper, plus the joke felt stale by Thursday. So now I have 49 stickers I can't give away and a fridge that taught me more than Dave did. Do you all test your sayings somewhere before a full print run, or just go with your gut?
