Why does nobody talk about the 90 day clock on your LLC's registered agent in Ohio
Honestly I had no idea until a buddy who runs a landscaping crew in Dayton got his LLC dissolved last spring. He moved shops, never updated his registered agent's address, and the state mailed the notice to the old place, so he missed it. Turns out Ohio only gives you 30 days to fix a bad agent address once they send that letter, and if you blow it they can cancel the registration. He had to refile from scratch plus pay a penalty, somewhere around $500 all in with the fees and his lawyer's time. Ngl, I checked mine that same night and my agent address was a PO box I gave up two years ago. Has anyone else dealt with the state cancelling them over a mailed notice they never saw?
