Question about a $200 set of layout squares

I finally bought them after years of using a cheap combo square, and the accuracy on my face frames improved overnight. Anyone have a good trick for keeping them from getting knocked out of true on a busy bench?

Magnetic holder on the side of your toolbox works for me. How often do you check them for square?

Hey @rose_young, what about rust from the magnet messing with the blade?

Actually read somewhere that some magnetic holders are coated to prevent rust transfer. The cheap ones will definitely leave marks though. Might be worth paying a little more for a coated one to avoid wrecking a blade.
