Went from pine to poplar for drawer boxes, 2 years of difference

Used plain pine for 4 years, always had warping by spring. Switched to poplar last winter, zero issues so far. Anyone else make that swap and see the same?

I read a thread on r/woodworking where a guy said poplar's got way less internal stress than pine, makes sense why yours are holding up.
