Velcro strips beat zip ties after my third redo

I tried zip tying everything behind my TV stand two months ago and it looked great for about a week. Then I added a soundbar and needed to move two cables, so I had to cut all the ties and start over. Last weekend I switched to a roll of 3/4 inch Velcro strips from the hardware store for $8 and rerouted everything in 10 minutes. The bundle stays tight but I can pull out any single cord without unraveling the whole mess. Anyone else ditched permanent ties for something reusable?

Take that same roll and wrap it around your power strip too, then attach the whole strip to the back of the stand with a couple of Command hooks. That way the brick stays put but you can still unplug one thing without fighting the Velcro. I also started tagging each cord with a tiny piece of colored tape before I bundle them, so I know which one is which without pulling everything out. It makes adding or swapping gear feel like a 2 minute job instead of a project.
