I finally figured out why my crimps kept failing after 3 months in the field
It was raining hard outside a house in Akron last Tuesday when I realized my crimper hadn't been calibrated since I bought it used two years ago, so I swapped to a new one and haven't had a bad connection since; has anyone else dealt with a tool just slowly drifting off without you noticing?

Honestly, that's such a pain to discover after all that time. I had a similar thing happen with my impact driver a few years back where it just started losing torque bit by bit and I didn't notice until I stripped a whole row of screws on a job. It's wild how tools can slowly go bad and you just adapt to it without realizing. Sorry you had to deal with that, especially out in the rain.

Notice how things just drift over time without you realizing it. Same thing happens with my torque wrench and even the thermostat in my truck.
