I finally learned the hard way not to cheap out on RG6 connectors

Picked up a bulk box of those no-name connectors off Amazon for like $30 to save a few bucks on a big job last month. Spent 3 hours back at a house in Denver yesterday fixing dropouts because half of them had loose inner cores. Lost probably $200 in labor and gas going back. Anyone else had a brand of connectors that actually holds up every time?

Blame the installer, not the connector. I've used those cheap bulk connectors for years with no trouble, and they pass signal just fine when you actually put them on right. Maybe spend the extra time making sure you're getting a solid crimp before pointing fingers at the hardware.

And the no-name ones just don't have that same solid feel in the crimper.
