TIL that 40% of my truck roll time is just driving, and I saw it on my own log sheet
I was going through my old work orders from last month and added up the drive time between jobs. Out of 162 hours logged over four weeks, 65 of them were windshield time, not actual installs. That is almost 40%, which blew my mind because it never feels that bad when you are just listening to podcasts. Any of you guys ever actually track your drive time vs wrench time? Curious if that number is normal or if my dispatcher in Mesa is just bad at routing.
