I thought zip ties were fine until I tried to swap a monitor at my desk in Portland
I used to defend zip ties for cable management, figured they were cheap and permanent. Then my monitor died and I had to cut through 14 of them just to pull one DisplayPort cable, and the whole swap took me 90 minutes instead of the 10 it should have. That mess made me switch to velcro straps, and now I can free a wire in about 5 seconds. Anyone else learn this lesson the hard way on a swap?
