My $12 cable sleeve setup finally made me feel like an adult

I kept looking at the rat's nest behind my desk and just closing the blinds so nobody would see it. Last weekend I picked up a velcro cable sleeve at the hardware store for like 12 bucks. Wrapped all the power cords, monitor cables, and ethernet line together in one bundle and zip tied it to the desk leg. It took 15 minutes tops and now the back of my desk looks almost clean. Has anyone else found a cheap fix that made a bigger difference than you expected?

The 12 dollar fix actually saved me from buying a whole new desk since tangled cords were making the drawers stick. Now I can actually open them without feeling like I'm wrestling an octopus.
