That zip tie trick from a forum guy wrecked my HDMI port
Some dude on this sub said to use a zip tie to pull cables tight behind the wall plate. Did that last month, and the tension bent the HDMI connector inside my TV port. Took me three days to figure out why the picture kept dropping. The port is dead now, so I'm stuck using the second input and a longer cord. Anyone else had a supposedly clever fix backfire like this, or am I just the unlucky one?
