Zip tie daisy chain trick saved my desk setup

Had a rat's nest behind my monitor stand for months. Tried velcro strips, spiral wrap, even a cable box. Nothing looked clean. Then a buddy who does theater lighting showed me the daisy chain method. You link zip ties together like a chain and route cables along it before securing to the desk edge. Took me 20 minutes on Tuesday night. Everything follows one line now. No more guessing which cord goes where when I swap peripherals. Has anyone else tried cable combs or rails instead? My next project is the TV wall and I want options.
