Zip ties lost to velcro straps in my living room, and it was not close

I zip tied the eight cables behind my TV in March and felt like a genius until I needed to swap the HDMI and had to cut all of them off. Velcro straps took ten minutes to set up and now I can pull one cable out without touching the rest. Did anyone else learn the hard way or am I the only one who made it worse before it got better?
