A customer's old rangefinder made me question my whole bench setup
Guy came in with a 1957 Leica clone, said his local guy retired and I was the only shop left in Dayton that would touch it. He watched me work for a minute and asked why I needed a computer to fix something that was built before transistors, and honestly it hit different, now I'm wondering how much of my gear is just habit versus actually helping. Anyone else feel like the older stuff gets easier when you stop leaning on digital diagnostics?
